Rhode Island's exclusion is done in person at Bally's in Lincoln or Tiverton. The sportsbook app and online lottery are separate checkboxes on the same form, and it's easy to miss them.

- Kalshi and Polymarket sports contracts still live in RI despite the AG's May 2026 lawsuit, and are not covered
- Permanent exclusion can be ended after one year with approvals - it is not truly irreversible

- Go in person to Security at Bally's Lincoln (100 Twin River Rd, Lincoln; 401-475-8220) or Bally's Tiverton (777 Tiverton Casino Blvd, Tiverton)
- Bring the self-exclusion form (1-year, 5-year or permanent; downloadable) and sign it with a Security Director/Officer
- On the form, accept the separate offers to also self-exclude your online Sportsbook (Sportsbook RI) account and your iLottery account
- For iLottery alone: in your account choose Timeout (24 hours to 9 months) or Self-Exclusion (1 or 5 years), or call 1-800-288-2485
- Add a device blocker to cover Kalshi/Polymarket and offshore sites
What you need
Casino form collects name, DOB, Social Security number, player card number, address and vehicle details; in-person signing required. exact ID documents.
How long it takes to take effect
For casino/sportsbook. iLottery: logout on activation; marketing stops within 48 hours.
What happens to your balance and open bets
Do this first, whatever your state says: withdraw your balance and let open bets settle before you enroll. Getting money back afterward means dealing with an operator that is now required to refuse you.
Winnings of self-excluded persons (after taxes) are forfeited to the Division/RI Lottery; self-excluded persons cannot collect winnings or recover losses (R.I. Gen. Laws 42-61.2-14). Sportsbook RI account balance handling .
Can you get off the list early?
Casino: periods 'meant to be served out in their entirety' but may be terminated with casino management and RI Lottery approval; forms say you must complete one full year before requesting termination (permanent included). 1-year form implies you must request termination rather than auto-expiry . iLottery: not reversible; restores automatically at end.
