How to self-exclude from PrizePicks
PrizePicks offers a 1–30 day timeout, a 30-day-plus self-exclusion, or a lifetime ban. The same app now sells prediction markets, and state sportsbook lists usually don't reach it.
Where to find it
App: open the top-left dropdown menu > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion. Web: top-right dropdown or site footer > Responsible Gaming. Help: support email listed on prizepicks.com/help-center/responsible-gaming (address obfuscated on page; exact address).
Before you do it: withdraw your balance and let open bets or positions settle. Once you’re excluded you may not be able to move money.
Your options
Timeout / cool-off (short break — ends on its own)
- Timeout: 1 to 30 days (blocks making picks and depositing)
Self-exclusion (the real block)
- Temporary: minimum 30 days (blocks all account access and all marketing)
- LIFETIME: permanent; cannot reactivate or open a new account for any reason
A timeout is a pause. If you’re here because betting is causing harm, choose self-exclusion — and your state’s list on top of it.
Does it cover their other apps and other states?
PrizePicks' predict-product help page says the RG tools apply across both DFS and prediction markets (Team Picks / Culture Picks) in the PrizePicks app (likely). It does NOT block Kalshi directly or other apps. Since March 10, 2026 PrizePicks is a founding member of the idPair national DFS self-exclusion program (with Underdog, Dabble, Splash Sports): when self-excluding you are offered the option to extend the exclusion to all idPair partner operators (announced as covering all 50 states + DC). Exact in-app wording/flow .
Pick'em fantasy app operating in many states under state fantasy-contest laws (not sportsbook licenses). Since Nov 18, 2025 the same app also offers CFTC-regulated prediction markets ('Team Picks' / 'Culture Picks') built on Kalshi event contracts, reported in 38 states + DC. Where fantasy pick'em is restricted, the prediction-market product may still be available.
Does your state’s list reach PrizePicks?
ToS 6.2: users warrant they are not on any governmental self-exclusion list related to fantasy sports. Pennsylvania runs a separate PGCB Fantasy Contest Self-Exclusion list (min 1 year) that licensed fantasy operators must honor. Tennessee has no central fantasy list (must exclude operator by operator). Whether a general sports-betting/casino state list blocks PrizePicks varies by state and is usually NO: per state.
Your balance and open bets
Withdraw your balance BEFORE finalizing self-exclusion; you will be locked out. For time-limited exclusions you must wait until the period ends (then email support) to regain access to funds. how funds are returned on LIFETIME exclusion (contact support before enrolling). ToS: self-excluded users cannot collect prizes; if they evade exclusion PrizePicks may seize deposits and winnings. In Pennsylvania, winnings of people on the PGCB fantasy self-exclusion list are forfeited.
Can it be undone early?
Cannot edit or delete any limit, timeout or self-exclusion until the chosen period has passed. LIFETIME is irreversible.
Does the marketing stop?
Yes: self-exclusion blocks all marketing notifications for the exclusion period.
Deposit limits and closing the account
Self-set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits and entry-fee limits; any limit must be set for at least 90 days. Optional activity alerts when daily/weekly/monthly thresholds are exceeded. Some states impose their own caps.
No separate close-account flow documented; LIFETIME self-exclusion is the permanent closure route. whether support will close without self-exclusion.

The gaps people miss
- Being on a state sportsbook/casino self-exclusion list usually does NOT block PrizePicks: fantasy pick'em is licensed separately (e.g., PA has a separate fantasy contest list; TN has none).
- PrizePicks now also sells Kalshi-based prediction markets inside the same app; these are CFTC-regulated and outside state self-exclusion lists.
- Excluding on PrizePicks does not exclude you from Kalshi itself, Robinhood, or other prediction-market apps, and does not cover sportsbooks.
- The idPair all-operator option only reaches its DFS partners (PrizePicks, Underdog, Dabble, Splash) and only if you choose it.
- Withdraw funds before excluding or they may be stuck until the period ends.
