How to self-exclude from Caesars Sportsbook
Caesars' self-exclusion only covers the state you're in, lasts at least 12 months, and doesn't end automatically — you have to apply to come back.
Where to find it
Log in > My Account > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion (NJ page). Also by mailing a notarized Caesars Sportsbook Self-Exclusion form, or at a retail sportsbook.
Before you do it: withdraw your balance and let open bets or positions settle. Once you’re excluded you may not be able to move money.

Timeout / cool-off (short break — ends on its own)
- Cool off: 3 to 30 days; Account Menu > Responsible Gaming > Gaming Limits (NJ page)
Self-exclusion (the real block)
- Operator self-exclusion: minimum 12 months (general and MA pages); NJ page offers 1-year or 5-year term in-account
- NJ DGE state program: 1 year, 5 years, or permanent
A timeout is a pause. If you’re here because betting is causing harm, choose self-exclusion — and your state’s list on top of it.
Does it cover their other apps and other states?
Operator exclusion is jurisdiction-specific: 'Once self-excluded, the customer will be banned by Caesars Sportsbook in the local jurisdiction.' MA page: bans you 'from all Massachusetts-based Caesars Sportsbooks, as well as the mobile application in Massachusetts' and excludes Caesars Rewards benefits, play privileges and marketing. NJ page warns an operator may ban you from all its land-based properties and online gaming and you could forfeit rewards points. Coverage of other states: not stated - assume NOT automatic. Caesars Entertainment also has a separate company-wide exclusion program (caesarsrewards custhelp article a_id 650, unreadable).

Your balance and open bets
MA page: enrollees are 'prohibited from collecting any winnings, recovering any losses'. Balance refund / pending wagers.
Can it be undone early?
Cannot be revoked during the term (NJ: 'cannot be revoked'). After the term, reinstatement is NOT automatic: you must submit a reinstatement form; consideration occurs no sooner than 30 days after receipt (MA page).
Does the marketing stop?
Exclusion covers direct mail, promotions, push notifications, email and SMS (MA page). To opt out of marketing: email [email protected] or [email protected], or call (855) 474-0606.

The gaps people miss
- Caesars' self-exclusion is by jurisdiction; excluding in one state may not stop betting with Caesars in another.
- Cool-off maxes out at 30 days.
- Exclusion can cost you Caesars Rewards points/benefits.
